The running mate of the NPP Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has fingered John Mahama and Prof. Jane Naana for the happening in parliament.
According to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh John Mahama and Prof. Jane Naana are responsible for the happenings in parliament.
Speaking in a one-on-one interview on GTV, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh said, “Yesterday you were in this country when there were near riots in the parliament of Ghana it was the consequence of John Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang’s irresponsible statement on galamsey that made the NPP lose 20 seats in galamsey areas and we lost our majority and we are living the consequences of that in parliament, it was only because of that, because of illegal mining”.
Dr. Matthew Opoku further stated the NDC running mate was condoning illegality with his comments to galamseyers, “The running mate of the NDC just about a month ago was in Tarkwa. Did you hear what she said, galamsey are you here? Galamsey people are you here, the government didn’t give you jobs”, he reiterated.
