National Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Said Sinare, says the party will win power in the December 7, 2024 elections.
According to him, Ghanaians desire change and no matter what may come, Ghanaians will see that change come to fruition regardless of what the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) thinks.
He admitted the NDC made some mistakes in past, and lessons in those errors have been learnt. “We have learnt our lessons. We are not perfect, yes, we have made some mistakes and learnt our lessons and I think that this time around, the people want change. Change has to come just like Kennedy Agyapong said, change needs Ghana and he is right.”
The former Ambassador to Egypt expressed confidence in the NDC winning the 2024 elections, adding, “they (NPP) dare not right this (2024) election. He insists Ghanaians will not accept any fraudulent election results.
He reminded the NPP of how the NDC back in 2016 handed over power in a free, transparent and peaceful manner, urging them to do same.
“You remember Akufo-Addo said he was not going to hand over power to John Dramani Mahama or the NDC parts. But I think that he is not God. At the end of the day, we will win this elections. Whether they like it or not,” he added.
Said Sinare reiterated that the ground is too fertile for the NDC going into election 2024, adding that “Ghanaians will not forgive the NDC” if they lose the December 7, 2024 elections.
