The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has bragged that if he were to erect statues for the works, he has done they would be uncountable.
According to John Mahama, what the NPP knows how to do is to erect statues, and noted that where the statue was erected the project was not completed nor was the road finished.
Speaking on a campaign platform he stated, “What they know how to do is erect statues, you have to leave office and allow people to erect statues for you based on your good works. Is that how it’s done? If I were to do the same, then I would have a statue at Tema Harbour, one at Kotoka International Airport Terminal 3, another at the University of Ghana Medical School, and yet another at Kejetia Market. My statues would be all over the country”.
“Look at where he erected the statue, the project the government is doing there has not been completed, including the road” he added.
He further added, “Where they have brought the country is enough. They should step aside so that we, the NDC, can come and protect what’s left”.
