Former First Lady of Ghana, Lordina Mahama has taken her own campaign train to his home regions, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East regions, appealing for votes for their “in-law”.
During her tour, She met queen mothers in the Bono, Ahafo and Bono East regions to campaign for votes for her husband, John Dramani Mahama, reminding them of the laudable manifesto promises of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). She also held separate meetings with the regional associations of queen mothers in Sunyani, Kenyasi, and Techiman to champion the agenda of change his husband is preaching.
The Queen Mothers expressed appreciation for her visit and also raised concerns over the neglect of the government on developmental projects since the creation of the regions. They also requested that more women be included in the next NDC administration because Ghanaian women have the capacity to excel at every level when given the opportunity.
