Some Muslim youth have clashed with the Ghana Police Service at Kawukudi.
The Ghana Police as part of maintaining the free flow of traffic, and ensuring a safe demonstration by #FreeTheCitizens blocked access to the Kawukudi highway.
Unfortunately, the Muslim youth demanded access through the sealed off area but the Police refused, asking them to use an alternative route.
The youth who will not take no for an answer went on a rampage and forcefully made their way through the police barricade.
Although it is not clear why the Muslim youth did that, it is suspected that they wanted access through the closed off street for the burial of a deceased.
