Member of Parliament for the South Dayi Constituency, Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwam Dafeamekpor has threatened to prosecute Godwin Kwame Dadzawa, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the constituency, for allegedly diverting premix fuel intended for local fishermen when NDC comes to power in 2025.
Speaking during a Constituency Manifesto event on TV3, Dafeamekpor accused the DCE of using the district assembly’s vehicle for NPP campaign activities.
“You are using your public office for private gain. We shall prosecute you,” he declared.
Dafeamekpor further recalled a conversation during Dadzawa’s nomination, where he claimed the DCE had expressed concerns about the constituency’s negative standing under former DCE Mallet, who he alleged had misappropriated funds from a primitive account.
Meanwhile In a spirited exchange, District Chief Executive Godwin Kwame Dadzawa denied all accusations, challenging the MP to provide evidence for the claims made against him.
“If you have proof, present it,” Dadzawa stated, insisting that he has acted within the bounds of his office.
