Ghana legend, Mohammed Polo has warned Kudus Mohammed on the dangers that come with wearing the Black Stars number 10 jersey.
Kudus Mohammed after wearing the Black Stars captain’s armband wore the number 10 jersey for the doubleheader against Sudan instead of his usual jersey number.
Mohammed Polo while reacting to the issue advised Kudus to stop wearing the number 10 jersey if he is not spiritually strong as some players who came before him like Kwadwo Asamoah had problems because of that jersey.
“We all remember what Kwadwo Asamoah came out to say some time ago about the number 10 shirt. The dreams he said he was having and all.”
“If Kudus is not strong spiritually, he should just stop wearing the number 10 jersey and go back to his number 20 jersey because there is a lot in that jersey,” he said.
Kwadwo Asamoah picked up the number 10 jersey after the retirement of Captain Stephen Appiah but he changed squad numbers citing personal reasons.
