West Ham United manager, Julen Lopetegui has described Ghanaian international, Kudus Mohammed as a player who does not support collaborative or cohesive play.
In a post match interview of the West Ham – Brentford game on Sunday, Julen Lopetegui speaking about his decision to substitute Kudus at halftime, he said, ““It was a tactical decision. I was thinking we need that. I was thinking that was better for the team and we needed these kinds of changes. The second half we worked as a team.’”
West Ham United drew (1-1) in their game against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday.
Kudus was substituted at halftime, with Carlos Soler taking his place as West Ham trailed.
Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoreline within the first minute, with Tomáš Souček equalizing in the second half.
