The Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed he eats and drinks with lepers because he wants to help.
In a meeting with the entertainment industry, Dancehall king Shatta Wale sought to know the NPP’s plan for the youth on the streets and asked the NPP flagbearer to speak in pidgin.
According to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who spoke in pidgin he knows how people on the streets are suffering because he was also a hustler some time ago and he is now in politics to help Ghanaians who are suffering.
Dr Bawumia said in pidgin, “Wetin you say, the thin be say me wey adey politics, the thin wey dey my heart ebi the people, the people wey de suffer for the country”.
“Me, I be patron of Lepers Aid Ghana, me den lepers, we dey eat, we dey drink together, Becos I Dey want help lepers in Ghana”, he revealed.
Dr. Bawumia also revealed the numerous hustles work he has done, he said, “abi farm laborer before, by day worker, taxi driver, abi cleaner before so I say I know how people dey suffer”.
