The head of Divine International Services, Rev. Charles Nyako together with his accomplice Samuel Brobbey has been exposed in an international gold scam.
Individuals fingered in the gold scam include Rev. Charles Nyarko the alleged mastermind, Samuel Brobbey claimed chief of Nsawam, Bright Darkwa alleged Access Bank branch manager, and Israel Boa Amponsem country representative for Divine International services in Ghana.
In December 2020 Rev. Nyarko approached the victims John Amihere of Jodell Incorporated and Attorney Ishmael Thoronka with a plan to acquire a large quantity of gold. Samuel Brobbey, who claimed to be a chief requested $450,000 to airlift the gold to the USA.
A supposed branch manager of Access Bank convinced the two gold buyers to make payments. The fraudster has since disappeared with their transferred funds.
The victims are now calling on the Ghana Police Service through a petition filed at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to investigate, recover their stolen fund of $450,000, and bring the culprits books.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is yet to make an official statement regarding their investigations so far.
