A video trending on the Internet has captured a group of market women at the Kejetia market almost beating up their fellow market man for lying.
During a constituency check dialogue organised by Asempa F.M in the Ashanti Region at the Kejetia Market, the man believed to be a branch chairman of the NDC took the open floor to express his opinions on the government and what has informed his decision to vote against the NPP government and Parliamentary candidate.
During his speech, he acknowledged that he trades in the market with the women and since the government came to power nothing has been seen in the form of development or support towards the market men and women. He recounted a fire outbreak in the market that made the current Flag bearer for the NPP, Dr. Bawumia visit the market and make promises only for the promises to be left unfulfilled.
In an attempt to speak more, the market women who appeared aware of the lies the man was going to spew, began shouting and throwing tantrums with some chanting that they won’t allow him to speak again. Tried as the host of the show did, the women surrounded the man in an attempt to beat him for lying. It took the intervention of security men present to capture the man from the women’s reach.
