Agoo TV journalist Afia Pokua and host of Onua TV’s ‘Bribi Gye Gye Wo,’ Mona Gucci apology have been rejected by the Manhyia Palace.
The two appeared before the Manhyia Palace on Monday to issue a formal apology.
In a viral video Afia Pokua was seen kneeling before several chiefs, but the authorities at the Place rejected their apology. One Chief ordered, “We don’t need anything from this child over here. She should take her sins away,”
Afia Pokua dressed in black very emotional, apologise to the Asante Chiefs saying, “I also apologise to the Kwahumanhene. I have brought shame upon you. My words have embarrassed the Chief and the people of Kwahu. Please forgive me; I promise not to let this happen again, “
“I offer a sincere apology to the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. I did not speak well at all, and I accept my wrongs”. She lamented.
Mona Gucci in a live broadcast admitted to her wrongdoing, in allowing Afia Pokua to use her program for her divisive view.
