Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Sally Mann has taken a swipe at Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.
Sally Mann described Shatta Wale as an artiste unworthy of fellow musician Stonebwoy, describing Shatta as an artiste who has only enjoyed success in Ghana.
“Shatta Wale is a local champion. He is not worth Stonebwoy’s time and efforts. This is why Shatta Wale keeps failing at his career. Whatever he does now is just for trends. He knows he has lost his relevance,” Sally Mann stated.
Prior to this proclamation, Sally Mann was seen in a video boasting about how she and so-called industry people had come together to promote Stonebwoy while sabotaging Shatta Wale.
She even added that the reason Stonebwoy does not reply Shatta Wale whenever they are engaged in beefs is because he doesn’t waste time on local champions.
The entertainment critic also revealed that Shatta Wale’s so called collaboration with Beyonce did not benefit him as Ghanaians have been led to believe.
She claims Shatta Wale does not even have the rights to perform the song anywhere. “Have you ever heard them perform the song anywhere?” she queried.
Beyoncé and Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale collaborated on the song “Already” with American trio Major Lazer. The song was released in 2019 on the album The Lion King: The Gift and was featured in the 2020 film Black Is King.
