Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has made a passionate appeal to his colleagues in Parliament to come together so as to end the “Tom and Jerry” games being played.
The Chairman of Government Assurance Committee in Parliament has described the recent boycotting of Parliament and fight over majority positions as childlessness and Tom and Jerry games. He said it is about time members of the House sit as adults and resolve the Parliamentary crisis in order to attend to matters that pertain to the hearts and will of Ghanaians.
According to him there are matters of unemployment that Ghanaians seek to overcome and that is what should be paramount in Parliament not the hid and seek games. He highlighted the outbreak of Cholera in the country as a serious health issue that should be of concerns to lawmakers so that they resolve the crisis and move forward.
Mr. Ablakwa further shared that there are pressing issue that require that Parliament sits and discuss it, hence the need for a resolve and stop to the hide and seek games.
