A number of Leicester players embarked on an early Christmas party to Denmark following their 2:1 defeat to Chelsea over the weekend.
The players in the heat of the celebrations sent across a message to their former boss, Enzo Maresca who is now Chelsea’s manager.
During the party, a Leicester player was seen carrying a sign which read, “Enzo I Miss U” with his team mates having a laugh.
Maresca led Leicester to the Premier League last season after a record-breaking campaign in the Championship, however the Italian was snapped up by Chelsea during the summer.
The Foxes replaced Maresca with former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper and handed him a three-year contract at the King Power Stadium. However, things have not gone well for Cooper, who was sacked just 24 hours after a 2-1 loss to Chelsea left Leicester in 16th place in the Premier League standings with just two wins and 10 points to their name.
The Daily Mail have reported that the players flew out to Denmark to enjoy an early Christmas party ahead of a tightly packed period of action through the upcoming holiday period.
Leicester will play seven games in just 31 days between December 3 and January 4.
Leicester City have reportedly started engaging replacements for Cooper, with ex-Chelsea and Brighton boss Graham Potter and Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy among the early contenders.

Wonder what the Leicester fans are saying about this? Losing at home and then some of the players travel to Denmark to go clubbing? And the coach being sacked too…. #leicestercity #PremierLeague | video: @EkstraBladet pic.twitter.com/OazsD9dpd6
