- Apostle Lilian Kumah, the widow of the late Deputy Minister of Finance and Ejisu MP, John Kumah, has publicly endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential campaign during his unexpected church-hopping tour on Sunday.
The NPP flagbearer’s visit to Apostle Kumah’s church was a standout moment in his spiritual tour of the Weija Constituency.
During the service, she took the opportunity to share the word of God with the NPP Campaign Team and prayed for God’s blessings and guidance on Dr. Bawumia’s campaign journey.
“Come December, let’s all come together to support and vote for Dr. Bawumia. All we are saying as a body of Christ is that we want unity, peace and peace of mind” she said.
Apostle Lilian Kumah’s endorsement marks a major boost for Dr. Bawumia’s campaign, given her influence and her ties to the late John Kumah.
Her support is likely to resonate deeply, especially with those who were impacted by her late husband’s legacy and work.
Dr. Bawumia’s spiritual tour included visits to the Holiness Pentecostal Church, the Church of Pentecost’s Mandela Assembly, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s Jerusalem Assembly, and the Church of Pentecost in Ayigbe Town, Kasoa Area.
