CNN Journalist Larry Madowo has praised Kumasi Airport as one of the nicest regional airports in Africa.
According to Larry Madowo, his favorite feature of the airport is how much natural light you get in the Kumasi Airport, now the Prempeh I International Airport.
Speaking in a self-recorded video he detailed, “This is one of the nicest airports I have ever seen in Africa, Kumasi you all are doing the thing. This is Prempeh I International Airport in the Ashanti region of Ghana, and it’s newly opened, and just started operating I think in July, one of my favorite features actually is how much natural light you get in this airport”.
Larry Madowo however questioned why many regional airports in Africa serve just two airlines.
“Many regional airports on the continent are not great, they only serve two airlines right now out of Accra, Passion Air and Africa World and that’s where they came from”, he added.
