The presidential candidate of the Movement for Change Alan Kyeremanten has expressed strong disapproval of former president John Agyekum Kufuor endorsing NPP presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 elections.
According to Alan Kyeremanten, former president Kufuor has created a big blot on his political career by publicly endorsing Bawumia.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Oyerapa TV, Alan Kyeremanten stated, “A hen does not lay eggs among people, President Kufuor is an elderly person I don’t want to speak in public against him, but what he has done he will see that it has created a big blot on his political career, have you seen the way people are talking against him”.
“Haven’t you heard what people are saying against him? If you look at the number of people criticizing him, someone with a distinguished career in politics that everyone respects, how have you now committed yourself to something that people are now criticizing him?”
Alan further added, “I am not speaking against him, but what I am saying is that he is my uncle. What he is doing is not good, he must stop it because what you are doing is not good and people are telling you that uncle what you are doing is not good you have to stop it”.
