Ghanaian dancehall king Shatta Wale has reacted to reports that the New Patriotic Party is offering social media influencer KalyJay $50,000.
According to Shatta Wale Kwadwo Sheldon was tipped off after KalyJay refused the NPP offer and accepted to take the offer, but he was offered $5,000 rather than the $50,000 promised Kalyjay.
Part of Shatta Wale statement on X reads, “Kojo Sheldon take ein kwasia go accept the offer but the sad part is Napo didn’t agreed for Bawumia to give him that $50,000 and they decided to give him $5,000 and Dingo agreed to it”.
Reports are circulating that popular X influencer KalyJay allegedly rejected a substantial $50,000 purportedly offered by Ghana’s ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to sway his social media influence in their favor.
The rumors, yet to be confirmed, have sparked discussions on X, with various pro-NDC accounts seizing the opportunity to criticize the current government for allegedly attempting to use social media personalities for political gain.
