Ghana musician, King Paluta came under fire over the weekend for refusing to perform at a show in Oyibi last Saturday.
King Paluta was scheduled to perform Lochers Lounge in Oyibi last Saturday, an event he promoted largely himself, but he failed to show up, leaving fans dissatisfied.
Following this, some residents of Oyibi who were anticipating his performance took to social media to register their displeasure, with one person claiming the musician came for jollof rice with chicken to eat before his performance but was no show. The fan went ahead to insult him and curse him, saying “even Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale will not stand Ghanaians up…people paid Ghc100.00 to come and watch you perform but it is 4:00am and he didn’t show.”
After suffering such intense backlash, the musician made a video apologizing to the people of Oyibi, saying unforeseen circumstances prevented him from performing, promising to make it up to them.
