Residents of Kasoa have expressed concerns about the negative image associated with their community, attributing it to the lack of development in the area.
They believe that the stagnation in infrastructure and services has contributed to the tarnishing of Kasoa’s reputation.
The remarks come as the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, began his Central Regional campaign tour, with his first stop in the Awutu Senya East Constituency, which includes Kasoa.
a cross-section of residents voiced their optimism about Mahama’s potential to bring positive change.
They expressed hope that if he assumes office in January 2025, he will prioritize the development of Kasoa, along with the broader national agenda, to improve living standards and address the infrastructural gaps in the area.
