United States Vice President Kamala Harris adopted the “It is possible” slogan famously championed by Ghana’s Vice President and NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Kamala Harris during the recent U.S. presidential debate used the slogan to te her determination to retain power, highlighting her vision for America. Her statements also echo Dr. Bawumia’s running sentiments to “Break the 8” with the ruling NPP government.
The debate drew parallels to Ghana’s political scene as Dr. Bawumia also faces off against former President John Mahama in December’s elections.
Kamala Harris is contending with former President Donald Trump, who is seeking a return to power. Both Vice Presidents have been defending their records while presenting some ideas for their nations.
Kamala Harris in defending the Biden administration’s track record, turned to a forward-looking message: “I am a leader who believes in what is possible,” as she hits back at Trump who happened to attack her policies.
Her statement is familiar to Ghana’s political landscape as Dr.Bawumia’s campaign has spearheaded the “It is Possible” slogan in at attempt to break the 8.
