John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the NDC, has announced that, as part of his first 120 days in office, he will provide seed money as collateral-free soft loans to women.

He also emphasized the enhancement of market facilities to ensure comfort for market women and their customers.

Mahama stated that the National Development Bank will be accessible to women in various markets across the country.

Speaking to chiefs, traditional leaders, and party faithful at the Tema West Constituency, he reiterated his commitment to providing seed capital for women’s banks.

Mahama further pledged to retool the nation’s security agencies, highlighting his previous efforts, including providing airplanes and helicopters to the military and over 1,000 vehicles to the Ghana Police Service.

He assured that he would continue these initiatives in his next administration.
