Koku Anyidoho, a former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and now Chief Executive Officer of the Atta Mills Institute has reacted to a video of Gas group calling on John Mahama to retract his comments made about Gas Dangmes.
According to John Mahama Speaking to NDC supporters in the Ablekuma South Constituency, as part of his tour of the Greater Accra region to canvass for votes, the former President said Gas and Dangmes only need Kenkey and fish to survive, not digitization as promoted by Dr. Bawumia.
Mahama said, “They will digitalize the kenkey. Does that mean you will eat digitization? But I know, by the grace of God, we will not eat digital kenkey. We eat real kenkey and fried fish”.
John Mahama’s comments have not been well-received by Ga youth, who insist that the Gas and Dangmes are disappointed in the comments, and he must retract them.
Reacting to these developments Koku Anyidoho took to his page on X and stated that with these happenings some analysts are still saying John Mahama is winning the Greater Accra by 80 percent.
His full post reads, “JM has caused serious problems for himself via his extremely derogatory comments about Gas spending all their lives thinking of Kenkey and fish – don’t need technology to develop their livelihood. And some analysts say JM is winning Greater Accra by 80%? Yoooo we hear 👂”.
