Flagbearer of the People’s National Party (PNP) Janet Asana Nabla, has announced plans to hit the streets to call for the removal of the Electoral Commission chairperson Jean Mensah following her disqualification from the candidacy.
Madam Nabla, who was disqualified due to her failure to rectify errors on her nomination form, expressed disappointment and blamed the EC Chairperson for what she described as an unfair process.
Speaking on a local media house based in Bolgatanga, she revealed plans to continue staging demonstrations with her supporters until the EC Chairperson steps down.
Her comments reflect a growing dissatisfaction among political stakeholders over the perceived lack of transparency in the EC’s vetting process, which has led to multiple disqualifications across various political parties.
