Jane’s Army of Women (JAW), led by Chairperson Lois Quarteng-Mensah, has announced an exciting new initiative: the Women’s Development Bank.
This initiative aims to tackle the financial challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in Ghana.
Spokesperson for the group Ama Amoah described the bank as a game changer for women in business. It will not only offer competitive interest rates but also a range of benefits designed to foster sustainable growth for women-led enterprises.
These include accessible loans, customized financial products, and essential business support services.
“Our goal is not just to provide financial assistance but to empower women entrepreneurs with the resources they need to thrive,” Ama stated. She emphasized that the bank aims to dismantle the financial barriers that have hindered many talented women, unlocking their full potential and contributing to Ghana’s economic growth.
Ama encouraged women to seize this opportunity: “The Women’s Development Bank is an unprecedented step forward. If we act now, we can transform the economic landscape for women across the country.”
