Ghanaian comedian, DKB says he feels betrayed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
DKB received intense backlash from both ordinary Ghanaians and some notables one’s in the political space. after a skit he made in support of the NDC’s 24-hour hit the internet.
The skit sought to explain that under the 24-hour economy, banks will be opened throughout the day, with customers being able to walk into banking halls at any time to cash cheques.
Following the backlash, the NDC’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi issued a statement calling on the party’s supporters to cease creating and distributing content ahead of the December 7, 2024 polls.
Reacting to the statement, DKB believes Sammy Gyamfi could have waited for the insults and criticisms he was facing from Ghanaians to have died down before issuing the statement.
“Seniors you betray me….I receive insults from different angles then I receive an official letter from the NDC as well. People are lashing me left, right and center. But NDC own dey pain me but posterity will judge us,” he said in a video.
DKB reaffirmed his love for the NDC Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama and the 24 hour economy policy.
