Member of Parliament for Subin, Eugene Boakye Antwi has waded into the claims made by Business man, McDan that the Private Sector has not benefitted from the NPP government, asking if this is his way of showing gratitude to the government.
In an interview with Neat F.M’s morning Show on Monday, November 11, 2024, the former Deputy Minister for Works and Housing stated emphatically that, McDan Boss has been one of the private sector owners that has immensely benefitted from the Akufo-Addo government. He cited the over $10 million facility made available to McDan by the former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Attah and also the operation of Terminal one wholly by him amongst others are the few benefits he, McDan has enjoyed under the NPP government.
In all the M.P counted over $200 million that the boss of McDan has benefitted from the NPP government since it came into power in 2017. He asked if upon all that the NPP has done for him that is the best way to show gratitude to the President and the government.
According to him, even card bearing members of the party who own businesses never benefitted a McDan has under the Akufo-Addo government. He pleaded with Party Members who own business but never benefitted from the policies of the government.
