The number of people who have been innocently rounded up and thrown in jail as part of Democracy Hub demonstrators keeps on rising.
Days ago, it was revealed that a pregnant woman, a diabetic and asmathic patient, a bus conductor and a number of innocent by standers were arrested for participating in the three day Democracy Hub protest, and charged with causing damage to public property and causing public disorder.
Now, it has also been revealed that an innocent delivery man, Benjamin, has been arrested by the police. Benjamin is said to have been delivering food from popular fast food joint, Papaye to protestors when he was arrested.
The Democracy Hub demonstration saw demonstrators burning tires in the middle of the road and causing public disturbances.
The aftermath of the demonstration has seen the police leaders of the demonstration and others numbering about fifty-two (52). These individuals are currently in police custody, awaiting to re-appear before court in October.
