Social media user, Albert Nat Hyde, popular as Bongo Ideas has blasted Bishop Salifu Amoako for chastising Ghanaians condemning him and his wife after their son caused a car accident, leading to the death of two (2) teenagers.
Addressing his congregation at Alive Chapel International on Sunday, October 20, Bishop Salifu Amoako expressed frustration with the ongoing discussions surrounding the accident, which he described as an unfortunate event rather than a deliberate act.
Bishop Amoako defended his son, clarifying that the boy had not committed an intentional crime.
“It was an accident,” he said, adding “My son did not carry a gun to kill anybody. He involved himself in a terrible accident, and I am not the one who did it, nor his mother. It is my name, that is why people are talking.”
Bongo Ideas who deemed this comment from the man of God as uncouth lashed out, responding with a post on X, “In any serious country, Salifu Amoako should be behind bars as we speak! Making excuse for the loss of lives by his son is the most senseless thing I’ve ever heard a pastor say!”
