The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akufo Dampare, stormed some Churches ahead of the 2024 elections yesterday, 24 November 2024.
According to the information gathered, the IGP George Akufo Dampare was at some Church around Greater Accra with the Police Management Board to promote peace ahead of the December 7 elections.
The churches visited include, the Church of Pentecost Accra New Town, Methodist Church of Ghana Accra Diocese Kpeehe. Holy Spirit Cathedral Catholic Church, Assemblies of God Ridgeway Gospel Center, Presbyterian Church of Ghana Osu, and the 37 Police Church.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akufo Dampare has been assuring Ghanaians, that the country will continue to enjoy peace after the December polls.
According to IGP Dampare, people who think they can come out and make statements to intimidate life will become uncomfortable during the 2024 elections.
