Concerned voter has shared a bold perspective on the upcoming elections, suggesting that even Samira Bawumia, the wife of the Vice President, would not vote for her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, if the realities of Ghana’s political system were fully acknowledged.
The voter, speaking in an interview with Metro Tv , explained that their statement was not an attack on Bawumia’s personal character or abilities, but rather a critique of the current political climate.
“If we’re to face the system and the reality of the situation, not even Samira would cast her vote for Bawumia,” the voter stated.
“It’s not about loyalty to the party or the individual; it’s about what the people are seeing on the ground.”
The Vice President, Dr. Bawumia, has long been viewed as a potential successor to President Nana Akufo-Addo of a possible breaking the eight agenda for the NPP.
However, the mounting challenges faced by the NPP, including economic difficulties and rising concerns over governance, seem to be eroding public confidence in his leadership.
