The presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has boldly claimed should elections be held today the NPP will have a decisive majority in parliament.
According to the Presidential candidate of the NPP he has been to over 200 constituencies and has campaigned on the grounds with data backing him should elections be held today the NPP will have a decisive majority.
Speaking on a campaign platform in Nkawkaw, Dr. Bawumia said, “We will meet them in the constituencies, we will meet them at the polling station and what I can assure you from what I know, I have been to over 200 constituencies I have campaigned on the ground I have seen the data and I can tell you that if we have the votes today NPP will have a decisive majority in parliament, there is no doubt”.
“Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia noted that should the trends continue the NPP will have a decisive majority in parliament by midnight on December 7, adding that the NPP will win at the polling stations”.
Dr. Bawumia also mocked the NDC for having the shortest-ever majority in parliament saying, “They (NDC) did something in parliament, and they said they are now the majority did you hear it? Anyway, it was a 24-hour majority, it didn’t take long 24-hour majority, the shortest-ever majority that I know of in history, a 24-hour majority”.
