The President of the Ghana Drunkards Association, Moses Drybone has appealed to the Inspector General of Police George Akuffo-Dampare to deploy a patrol car to come pick up drunkards.
According to him, Ghana would go into a state of anarchy and the President of Ghana would declare a state of emergency should that happen.
Speaking on Kofi TV, he said “If they talk about the country’s property it is us, that is why it is very important, if they are counting first-class citizens it is us, that is why we appealing to IGP Dampare to give us the service from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm if someone calls the Ghana Police that he is drunk and cannot go home they should hurriedly deploy a patrol car to come and pick the person home”, he added.
“If we stop drinking, Accra Brewery will close down, Guinness Ghana will be close down, over 2 million jobs will be lost, people will be sent home, Ghana will go into anarchy, and the President himself will declare a state of emergency”.
He added that even if the person is drunk and over dozed they should take the person to the police station and get him Kenkey and fish when he is well should be taken home.
According to the President of the Drunkards Association, they are going to decide the winner of the 2024 elections.
