Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Council of Elders, Hackman Owusu-Agyemang has stated, even if Jesus Christ comes from heaven as the EC chair, NDC will still complain.
According to Hackman Owusu-Agyemang, he does not like the posture of the National Democratic Congress ahead of the December polls.
Speaking on PM Extra on Joy News on 25 November 2024, Owusu-Agyemang said, “I don’t like the opposition’s posture, and they keep saying that if they don’t win, then something has happened. Believe me, if you bring Jesus Christ from heaven to come and become the Electoral Commissioner, they will still complain”.
Owusu-Agyemang further lamented the challenges Ghana continues to face sometimes overwhelm him. “Sometimes, in my quiet moments, I feel like crying,” he lamented.
Hackman Owusu-Agyemang added, “Interruptions here and there by the military, a whole lot of problems, but that notwithstanding, we will be able to make this country a great nation in Africa. The world will respect Ghana for what it is, what it’s been able to achieve, and what it will continue to build upon”.
Meanwhile, Ghanaians go to the polls in 11 days to decide their next president and their members of parliament for the next four years.
