Member of Parliament (MP) for Ho West constituency, Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah has threatened to beat any MP from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) side who dares sits on his seat at the majority side of parliament.
Engaging the media today, he said, “We are already seated at the right side (majority side) of the speaker and they are not in. So, if you come and say I should move from your seat that is it, I will beat you. Whoever dares today we will beat that person today.”
Tensions are high between the NDC and NPP ahead of parliamentary sitting today, October 22, 2024. Ahead of the today’s sitting, the Speaker described the NDC as the Majority group following the declaration of 4 seats vacant.
The former Majority group, the NPP took the speaker’s decision to Supreme Court, which put a stay on the speaker’s decision.
