Ghanaian comedian DKB, has expressed his frustration after receiving backlash from members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) following the release of a skit he created for their opponent, NDC explaining their 24 hour economy policy.
According to him, he didn’t expect members of the NPP to misinterpret the skit and for it to meet as much ridicule as it did on social media.
In a post of social media he said, “NPP members it’s okay please if you insult small, pause and drink water, go on commercial break small I beg. If you don’t understand yes I have shot the skit and it’s fine if you don’t understand but you’ve insulted me for 24 hours just like the 24 hours I’m talking about”.
He expressed his disappointment with their reactions, stating that the NPP members’ response to his skit was both aggressive and unfair.
“Am I not a human being, don’t I have feelings? It’s just a skit I shot I didn’t kill anybody and I haven’t stolen money from your pocket by virtue of the skit so why the insults?” he asked.
