Pappy Kojo Ghanaian musician, Pappy Kojo says he has more reverence for hip life legend Tic, formerly Tic Tac than the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei-Tutu II.
According to him, Tic’s influence on his life and career far surpasses that of the Ashanti king.
Reacting to claims he (Pappy Kojo) was jealous of colleague musician, Kofi Kinata after the asantehene praised his music, the musician said, “Bra Tic you know something. Do you believe those? Everyone and their life and I am not bothered. Everyone and his life the impact someone has on his life.
To me (Pappy Kojo) the Influence Tic Tac had on me is bigger than any other influence I have had from a chief, or any asantehene in Ghana.”
Pappy Kojo motioned that Tic Tac’s music is what pushed him yo venture into music. “It wasn’t the influence of any asantehene or anyone but Tic Tac. Tic Tac raised me, what are you talking about? I rate Tic Tac over the asantenehe, yes me I rate Tic Tac over the asantehene. I won’t lie to you. Do you know what Tic Tac is? Do you know the influence he’s otuhad on me? That’s the truth. Tic Tac is like 10 queen Elizabeth’s to me,” he noted.
