Nigerian songstress, Ayra Starr, has disclosed her coping mechanism for the fame associated with showbiz.
With a busy schedule and the pressures of work in being an artiste, she said, ““I did so many shows last year… sometimes I disappear when it gets overwhelming.”
The artiste who takes inspiration and support from her village noted that her family help her deal with the pressures of her work and the associated fame.
“When I go back home, I’m still living with my family. My brothers might be making noise and playing video games, so the house is still very much full,” she added.
She made these revelations in an interview with American singer and actress Coco Jones.
Although she has a solid management team, the musician says she stays true to herself, and has the freedom to create whatever she desires.
