Ghanaian celebrity and lifestyle blogger, Ameyaw Kissi Debrah, has publicly shared that, he put dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale on a 10 year ban list for threatening his life.
He made this comment while answering to whether or not he faces media attacks as a blogger in an interview on Joyfm’s Career Trail programme.
According to him, he received a call from the Shatta Wale accusing him of not liking him hence constantly publishing negative stories about him.
“I blacklisted Shatta Wale because there was a time he called that, he felt I didn’t like him on my website that I talked about him negatively and said if I value my life, I shouldn’t write about him. So I blacklisted him thereof for over 10 years,” he disclosed.
He however clarified that, the ban has been lifted, allowing his team to publish stories about the dancehall artiste and that since then, he has not received any further threats from him.
Ameyaw Debrah noted that aside this experience, he rarely faces any attacks on social media.
