A resident of Prampram has boldly stated that he can bet his last 100 cedis that Organized Labour planned nationwide strike will not come on.
Organized Labour announced a nationwide strike set to begin on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in response to the government’s failure to address their concerns regarding illegal mining (galamsey).
Speaking on JOY FM morning show the Super Morning Show the man stated that Ghanaians are not angry enough, they are not frustrated enough and don’t even show patriotism a Ghanaian must have.
“ We all know water represent live, the moment water is lost we lose live, Organized Labour you go to government we have said it all the time they are not listening, our president had the opportunity to speak on the issue when he addressed GJA but did not talk about it, now you go to him and tell him from now to 10th come on let us be up and doing”. The resident lamented.
The resident from Prampram also noted that we have been mining gold from old, with Ghana being called the Gold Coast what have done with the gold. “The gold communities are their roads proper” he asked.
He urged Ghanaians not to vote blindly particularly in the upcoming election and vote outside the circle of NPP and NDC
