Entertainment pundit and former marketer for Gospel icon Ohemaa Mercy, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, known by all as KOKA, has publicly apologized to the musician after being granted bail of GH¢2,000.
KOKA in a Facebook post on Friday, September 27, expressed regret for his actions and rendered an apology to Ohemaa Mercy and others who had been affected by his actions.
“Friends and fans of KOKA… I am safely back from hibernation although not a pleasant experience I am a better person. God knew what he was doing. I thank you all for your love and support. To all those I unconsciously wronged including Ohemaa, I sincerely apologise.
“And to all those who made me suffer, I wholeheartedly forgive…. This is water under the bridge…. It flows forwards and never comes back…watch this space….I love you all,” he said.
The former marketer to the gospel singer was arrested after she reported that he had threatened to send thugs after her if she did not pay him an amount of money she owed him.
According to KOKA, Ohemaa Mercy owed him, GH¢8,000 which he has been unable to recover hence his threats against the gospel singer.
In a court session on Thursday, September 26, 2024, KOKA was granted bail of GH¢2,000 with one surety by the Accra Circuit Court.
