Controversial dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has fired back at Neat FM after they decided to blacklist his music.
The controversy started when Abena Moet, during a show, called for all Shatta Wale’s songs to be banned after a fan requested one from her colleague, Ola Michael.
According to her, Shatta Wale’s music would never be played on their station due to his disrespectful comments about Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, the owner of Despite Media.
In a post on X to say, “Herrrhh Neat FM ,you guys don’t respect erh ,How much will I even get in cash if you play my song on your radio …😂😂😂The world has changed oo😂😂 ,can’t you see !!!! YouTube, Apple Music etc alone is paying me thousands of dollars than your village station ooo ..It’s sad ,but I won all these battles 💪”.
The controversy started after Shatta Wale insulted the businessman, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite during MzGee’s live discussion with rapper Medikal in May, which focused on Medikal’s marital issues with his now ex wife and actress Fella Makafui.
