Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has posed five (5) questions to his counterpart in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to John Mahama, he is not going to pose 170 questions to Dr. Bawumia just like he did the late Vice President of Ghana, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, but rather needs him (Bawumia) to answer five (5) simple questions.
The five (5) questions asked by Mahama are as follows;
1. Why is the exchange rate Ghc17 to a $1?
2. Why has Ghana’s debt risen from $120 billion to $767 billion in 8 years?
3. Why is inflation where it is? Why did it rise to 54 percent under your administration in 8 years?
4. Why did you borrow Ghc42 billion form the Bank of Ghana?
5. Why has he run away from the economy to digitization?
Mahama believes these are some simple questions Dr. Bawumia is capable of answering.
