A concerned citizen has voiced strong opposition to flagbeaerer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama’s return to politics, questioning why Ghanaians should vote for him after his extensive political career as President, Vice President, Minister, Deputy Minister, MP, and Assembly member.
“Once you’ve served as President and left, you become an elderly statesman,” he stated. “We respect your views, but coming back into the race doesn’t make sense. You didn’t fix anything during your time.”
He emphasized that Mahama’s return wouldn’t solve the country’s ongoing issues, such as clogged drains and rising prices.
“There are 30 million people in this country. Let someone else, like Yao or Fo, have a chance to try. We need fresh perspectives,” he added.
He urged Mahama to refrain from re-entering politics, reiterating that the challenges the nation faces remain unaddressed.
But please, if you are president and you are done, don’t come back. There are 30 million people in this country. We know what you have done.
Give somebody, give someone else a chance to come and try. Let’s see the person can fix it. You don’t need to come back.
The prices are still going up. The dollar is still running. Please don’t come back.
