A netizen has reacted to a video of the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Yofi Grant spotted with a bottle of San Pellegrino sparkling water.
In a viral video captured, Yofi Grant was at the studios of Starr FM and spotted with a bottle of San Pellegrino Sparking water.
Many Ghanaians have raised concerns that those in charge of the country do not care because they drink imported water, not the galamsey-affected local water the ordinary Ghanaians drink.
The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre Yofi Grant captured a bottle of San Pellegrino water further proving them right.
According to Albert Nat Hyde commonly known as Bongo Ideas, Yofi Grant does not drink local water, but he imports San Pellegrino water priced at GHC652.60 per bottle.
He also added that Yofi Grant does not care about Ghana’s polluted water.
Albert Nat Hyde’s full post reads, “Mr. Yofi Grant, CEO of GIPC, does not drink local water; he imports San Pellegrino sparkling water priced at GHc652.60 per bottle. He doesn’t care about your polluted water and won’t do anything to curb it”.
The water bodies in Ghana have been destroyed by illegal mining activities, which have introduced harmful chemicals into them (water bodies).
There has also been research indicating that Ghana may soon import drinking water if the galamsey menace is left unchecked.
