Gunmen ambush NPP supporters firing shots randomly at Asante Akim North

Gunmen have ambushed some NPP supporters firing shots randomly at them in Asante Akim North.

According to reports, the NPP supporters were attacked by unknown gunmen at Kowirem in Agogo while on their way from campaign activities.

The NPP supporters were standing by a pick-up when the gunmen ambushed them in a Range Rover firing shots randomly.

Reports suggest the gunmen made away with the NPP supports pick-up key and mobile phones.

The incident has been reported to the Ghana Police Service, with the police dispatching officer to investigate the scene.

The Police Service is now on a manhunt to apprehend the gunmen.
