A recent poll conducted by Professor Smart Frimpong has revealed that, within the constituencies in Ghana the major needs that electorate seek as we head into the elections are good roads and youth employment.
A Lecturer and Research Fellow at the Kumasi Technical University, Professor Smart Frimpong’s new Research findings have revealed what is a big worry and are in high demand as the country heads into the Presidential and Parliamentary elections on December 7, 2024.
The research which was carried out in all the 276 constituencies using a sample size of 99,355 from 4,272 communities found out that, the people need good road and youth employment over the provision of ICT labs, community centre, police visibility, portable drinking water and even health centers.
This findings proves that the electorate are ever ready to rally their support behind any candidate and party whose policies and manifestos will provide solutions to such needs.
The research also showed that, toilet facilities, market centers, street lights and telecommunications network as well school building and it’s renovation are not top most needs of Ghanaians. It explains why a community destroyed desks that a member of Parliament donated to them.
