Ghanaian dance-hall musician Shatta Wale has urged Ghanaians to go back and beg former President John Dramani Mahama for relief from the current economic hardship.
According to him, Mahama’s administration performed better than the current government, and he noted that things were more affordable during Mahama’s tenure.
Shatta Wale expressed his sentiments, stating, “You have to go and beg Mahama because he made things better when he was in power. Nobody could deny the benefits of his administration.
During those days, if you were an artist, you were valued. Mahama appreciated us and made sure we had opportunities.”
He further criticized the current situation, suggesting that some people have selfish agendas and are misleading the public.
“Some small boys on Twitter need to understand that real change comes from genuine efforts, not empty promises. When John Mahama was in power, he aimed to help the people, and would strive to solve the pressing problems we face today.”
The king is spitting facts!!… Ghanaians are indeed ashamed to say we need Mahama back because of the way we treated him. I clearly remember his final words before he left power..he said ” Posterity is my Judge”..we are sorry Mahama!!. https://t.co/qE6HCItuzM
