Presidential Candidate and Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, has vowed to provide a monthly allowance of GHC 500 for Ghanaians under 18, and GHC 700 for unemployed adults over 18, if elected President in the 2024 elections.
According to him, his administration would focus on improving the welfare of the youth and the unemployed.
Responding to how he would fund these ambitious initiatives, Akpaloo confidently responded, “We will use cedis to pay, not dollars,” asserting that government funds would be sufficient to support the initiative.
He noted that “money can never be a problem” for his administration, urging Ghanaians to vote for the LPG to address the country’s challenges, including unemployment and infrastructure development.
In addition to his monetary promises, Akpaloo assured that all roads in the Ashanti Region would be motorable, free of potholes, under his presidency.
He also vowed to transform slums across the country into affordable housing projects, with each household benefiting from a chamber and hall arrangement.
His vision includes building skyscrapers in key areas to modernize and uplift communities.
